Although the quality of his sets and productions has decreased over the last few years I still think he is one of the better 'big' trance djs.

Theres no denying in the past he has produced some absolute classics and some great sets.

Ferry Corsten, AVB, PVD and Tiesto are always my fav.

Love him so much since 1999 !

If you actually compare Ferry to Armin & Tiesto, then you can definitely realise that he's just the man who is still into Trance as we all loved back in the old days (the newbies in trance just can't understand and imagine how great was the old days...).

When I hear tracks like SHANTI or MADE OF LOVE...I still feel this emotion we can find in their old tracks.

He's a genius, he so much better than Armin, and Tiesto, because they turned into commercial crap with years...dunno why...

Certainly out of all of the massive trance DJs (AvB, PvD, Oakenfold, Tiesto, Corsten, etc.) over the past decade or so he's stayed truest to the genre with his own productions.

The man still puts on a great show, too.

Corsten has always been exceedingly hit or miss for me.

Insofar as Epic Trance is concerned, he's either played the better or absolute worst variety of it- very little in between.

Of course, I haven't really heard a thing from him since around 2007, soon after his marketed incursion into his 'new style,' which was really just the same Prog Trance everyone else was playing at the time, but I don't suspect much has changed since then.

Definitely. Easily the most consistent DJ and producer in the last decade, not just in trance either. Ok so he had that shitty period a few years back but he's gone back to his roots and puts on a fantastic show most of the time.

His mixing is unbelievable though. I saw him do a 5 hour set last year and I had trouble hearing where one track ended and the other started.
