are you just visiting or are you staying here for a while?

Been here since August and will be stay at least until next July (Grad school). I haven't been to a trance party for 5 years or so, Techno and House is just my thing nowadays (I have yet to cross Howells off my eternal to-see list). Since I'm mostly hanging out with fellow students, it's a bit hard to convince them to join you to EDM parties, not to mention Brooklyn warehouse ones. So far it's been mostly housewarming parties with beer drinking and passing out eventually.

At least you guys have a train to and from the airport, which we don't.

Also, you have trains which go under the river. That is fucking cool.

Tokyo isn't as confusing as NYC. I personally thought Tokyo's map was easy to figure out

There's this Colombian coffee shop I go to sometimes that's at an intersection with offices of the IMF, World Bank, Organization of American States, and an organization affiliated with the US Foreign Service (frequented by diplomatic staff). Sometimes I eavesdrop just to see if I can even guess what language other customers might be speaking.

How does that work out for ya? lol... I bet you use your eavesdrop technique of having the headphones in but no volume on.

Any time I hear Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Ukranian, Lithuanian, etc... I always think it's Russian.
