They are overpriced though. Dells are good but you can get far better bang for buck on desktops from other retailers. Big brand companies are for buying laptops, not desktops.

Is it worth going for Win7 Pro/Ultimate 64bit, or will the Win7 Home 64bit do the job just fine?
I've had the Win7 beta on my laptop for months now, and it's very nice to use, but the Ultimate version is fairly pricey, and I'll have to buy another copy for my laptop in March when the beta version starts rebooting it every 2 hours

You are solid with the Home edition, the Ultimate Edition sports a high price for not too many extra features.
