it might've been invented in buffalo but torontonians perfected it.

Where would these wings be? Most wings in toronto come with the sauce already on them, as they arrive frozen.

One major thing that all wings in toronto lack is size. Most places are using 16-18 ct baby wings with barely any meat on them. Ideal size is 8-10 ct. (this is what I have found with most restaurants and pizzerias)

Sorry Jay you gotta let Buffalo keep its one claim to fame besides the Sabres. All we got is wings LOL.

And Anchor bar is garbage, Duffs is good, but not very convenient if your going shopping.

If you plan to go put this number in your phone. Border wait times in both directions. I would stay FAR away from the queenston-lewiston bridge this weekend, no matter how far out of the way the other bridges may seem. Everyone ends up there because thats where there maps and navigation take all of them. The peace bridge and rainbow are way better equipped to handle volume... queenston lewiston can be a nightmare.

Thanks for info about the border...

I need advice on bring what currency to bring and what will save me the most...

Since I'm going to Buffalo, I'm sure I'll be okay with bringing CAD there but should I exchange some CAD for USD...I checked the exchange rate on the Bank of Canada website and as of yesterday the exchange rate is 1 CAD = 0.9565 USD...I checked with Money Mart and their exchange rate is 1 CAD = 0.93 USD. So should I bother buying USD or just bring CAD or do a portion of both...help!

NEVER bring foreign money and expect a good deal on exchange. Especially at stores etc.

The best rate is always at a bank before you go.

There are some exceptions. Sometimes stores will do Canadian at par. But you need to know this before you go and only spend Canadian at that store.

I tend to use a credit card. 2.5% surcharge is about what the bank would charge for a cash exchange. Plus you can get points with credit cards.

NEVER EVER just go with Canadian cash though...u are asking for trouble

Just use your Credit Card if you have that available.

The fees might a be more (0.93-.94 depending on your bank) but there is no hassle, you don't have to worry about converting the leftover amount back to CDN dollars, you get points with you CC (if you have a reward program), and you get the float time before you have to pay it.

not true..

more likely what they mean is you may have to pay duty on the electronics unless you stay more than 24 hours.

Definitely not true.

It's a great cash cow for the government. Doesn't make sense for them to turn you away when they can make Duty/GST/PST on the goods.
You will most likely have to pay duty on anything you bring on Friday/Saturday.

Also, I wouldn't lie about the amount of the goods you are trying to bring over. You can screw yourself over pretty bad.
