That's right. Because my personal health history indicates that I'm more at risk for getting the flu than cancer.
So if an evil pixie came to you and said you had to choose between having cancer or having the flu....you would want to have cancer?

from swine flu? as i said with SARS and i will say now. How many people died from regular flu in the same time period? How many people die from regular flu normally? How many of the 84 had previous underlying conditions? Why isnt people dying from flu making news any other time?

no... I think what was meant was 84 out of 33 million (Canadians)... worldwide the number is apparently in the low thousands - also I think it is a bit over 100 that have died in Canada. still makes for a very very low overall mortality rate, and still considerably low mortality rate per infected.

Jay u r being ridiculous about this!
i got the H1N1 shot a few weeks ago. I did get a small allergic reaction to the shot in the area where i got it. and now weeks later i feel fuckin fantastic! everyone else around me is sick or has gotten sick, but i haven't, and i think its because of the shot. i get sick very easily, and i haven't so far. i thank the H1N1 for that! plus all those hospitalized ppl number r not b/c they got the shot. if u look at the numbers of ppl hospitalized or died from the normal flu every year counts as those numbers. THOUSANDS of ppl apparently die from the normal flu every year, its got nothing to do with the vaccine. and i am first hand proof that there is nothing wrong with that shot.

I wonder what else is delayed? I wonder what other jurisdictions are affected? I wonder what the next scare will be?
That article makes my blood boil! "Oh we're going to "save" people from the evil swine flu but take away the chances of saving girls from cervical cancer in the meantime!"

not saying there is nec anything wrong with the shot. To me even a small risk is not worth it to avoid a flu. we simply dont know the long term risks involved with something like this. Id rather prevent cancer or something with a vaccine rather than a flu. I still think the swine flu was hyped up for financial reasons more than anything else. And im glad i didnt get it
