***FINAL OUTCOME***

Ok so this is definitely the end of this issue.

As it turns out, just from how severely different my computer is behaving after the format, I honestly think most if not all my issues were being caused by an infected computer.

I have not been able to update FL Studio 8 for months now.
After the format today, FL Studio 9 installed with a breeze.

I also noticed this when I reinstalled Virus Control which was HUGE.
And I'm 100% sure this is what was causing my issues.

**SOMETHING** was seriously fucking around with me installing ANYTHING new on my PC. I couldn't update FLS and I noticed this specifically about Virus Control.

The FIRST time I had installed virus control, I remember all the pop ups I got, and everything I did.

The SECOND time I installed virus control, I got an option I KNOW FOR A FACT I did not get the first time, and reason why is because it took about a 5 min wait to do.
Initially when I installed virus control, it did NOT SYNC the memory for optimum performance.
I never fucking saw that before in my life.

I opened up the Virus TI Snow plugin, switched to the Virus Audio Driver and realized NOW I have latency!! wtf!!!
Amazingly, I switch to my asio drivers (which were originally causing latency on my unformatted pc) and NO LATENCY AT ALL.
Nothing, zilch, nada.

I also got a 21.5" LCD screen today which just added to all the good news (early xmas gift).
So as of now everything works 100% perfectly, and the REAL problem I believe was my pc had to be a much worse state then I realized before the format.
Virus works great, FL is updated, pc is bone dry of any programs. I am ready to produce my fucking ass of this week. I finally have a setup I'm more then content with, and I am not doing ANYTHING for this next week but playing with my TI and having a fucking blast.

Thanks everyone who particpated!! The TI will not be going back. And I honestly couldn't be happier about everything right now.

I guess FL Studio isn't bad for TIs afterall.

Robby,
Can I recommend you download this tool http://www.thesycon.de/deu/latency_check.shtml and use it?

I was having major problems with pops and crackles with my audio interface. I immediately blamed the manufacturer and shitty drivers, and I later discovered I was the idiot as I had really high DPC latency.
Wanna know what the fix was? Power saving in Windows 7. Switched from "Balanced" to "High Performance" and my latency dropped through the floor and no more pops and crackles.

http://www.gearslutz.com/board/musi...pc-latency.html

Another handy link on achieving low DPC latency (for Mac users but many principles apply - such as turning off Intel SpeedStep http://www.bay-wolf.com/speedstep.htm#1)

Merry Christmas all.

Nice one mate.

It'd be interesting to know what your latency was on the PC before you formatted it
