Anybody mind explaining how exactly the plug ins work? I'm going to guess they are obviously exclusive to only UAD processing power only (which is neat). There is not some iLok security crap is there? I'd like good security protection because I don't want everybody to be able to get something for free that I drop 4 figures on, but I also don't want to deal with dongles, etc.

The uad card is required for all the plugins it has, so that would in fact serve as a dongle as well as additional processing power.
