Oh hell yeah. Not stringy like other mangos. Climbed up a big tree and grabbed a heap of these a couple of weeks back while I was fishing up at Coochin creek.

Yeah, and about as thick as my thumb.

I brushed up against one, and my instant reaction was something along the lines of 'oh fuck, my arm is on fire, what?'. This caused me to do a kind of spastic twitch, and fall back a bit onto about 5 or 6 others, on my shoulder and back. Ooooooowwwwwwww.

To Bas, if you read this: You'd better update 'the thread'.

Ok, so I'm about to try an all vegan, mostly raw diet for a month or so for health reasons.

Has anybody here tried it, or is anybody here vegan?

I'm really curious after reading about it and watching videos of people who seem to have extreme levels of energy and even athletes and bodybuilders on all-raw diets. People claiming that needing alot of protein for building muscle is a myth etc.

Opinions?

I wish I could say the same: we used to have a mango tree in the backyard of our old house, and my dad loved it. Every single year he'd harvest it until there was no mango left and he'd make mango cake, mango mousse, mango juice, mango ice cream, Mangolians, mango mango, and more mango juice.

I can't stand it any more.
