yeah, there was a brawl going on when we left... we saw a bunch of bouncers run to the middle of the dance floor... i guess it quickly dissipated.

Blame it on the Jersey Shore.

A little too much commercial cheese (and this is coming from a fan of well used commercial cheese) for my liking. Good mixing but the set just seemed to lack a sense of flow. I almost got the feeling that Steve didn't come into this gig with high expectations (maybe he was tired or whatever) but I think that amazing crowd response to everything he did sorta got him into a good groove. So long story short....not the best i've heard from him...but still damned fucking good!

Couldn't agree more. I enjoyed his set at Decadence last year better than Saturday as well, but the sheer madness in Guv was unreal! Non-stop big room party tunes FTW! If you are ever looking for a high energy party, Steve Angello is not to be missed.

I was disappointed to see that Steve wasn't closing, but Mark Oliver really made up for it. Mark is usually hit and miss for me, but he kept the same energy going right through till the end. One of the better Guv nights I have ever had.

And now the bad...Gallery was awful on Saturday. I don't like the renovations they made as it is far too bright and a little to much anime on the walls for my liking. Dark and dirty > modern and trendy. Gallery quickly went to being my favourite room to the worst. The electro didn't help anything either.

Personally Amicci didn't do much for me.

He was an opener which I know is not an easy task, but still, be it the volume levels being out of whack(don't know if it was on his mixer or guv's master mixer) or some of the rallying, big room build ups that equated to mediocre drops, I just could not get into it...nor could alot of the people around me..was even getting text's sharing similar thoughts.

thanks for writing my review for me
minus the decadence stuff, I wasn't there.

and I am SOOO glad you IDd that jerome track Jay.... I dancing far too hard to stop to videotape it while it was on and was quite pissed about it up until now. It's not my favourite style of music but definitely wins track of the night for me.... totally blew me away.
