must have been a real pro! i personally thought all sound cards where either plug and play (where the bios or operating system allocates all the settings for it (irq's and dma's etc)) or the real old ones had the lil jumper thingys where you select them yourself, so if there was a conflict it should be easy to change the settings to get rid of the conflict.

My friend's uncle will have a 4 TB partition one day. He already has a 650 GB patition, thanks to RAID 0 (he told me RAID 0.5 but, what is that?)! You get much better speed that way! Read my other post on this. I already posted about this before...
