Anyone know if there is something faster than taking the 1119 or 120 to get to Sunny Isles/Aventura/Hollywood from South Beach?

no thats pretty much it. there used to be the H route that went all the way down to south beach but they modified it and now it only goes as far as 71st.

Pat : the 246 (Night owl) only shows it running around downtown on their site. the 500(midnight owl) is the same also(I know you don't have it listed just figured i'd mention) i'm assuming they changed it this year? I'd hate to hear horror stories of people running up and down collins looking for a bus that will never come lol. By the looks of it looks like there's only one bus(S) that runs SoBe>Downtown 24hrs.? runs collins up lincoln to alton. Or am I missing something here?

a cab is gonna be pretty expensive. $40+ easy. the 150 airport flyer bus will take you to miami beach. get off around lincoln road and then jump on the south beach local. the south beach local goes down west ave which is one block from bay road which is what you're on. get off on 15th st and all you gotta do is walk one block. simply ask the bus driver to let you know when to get off the 150 to transfer to the south beach local. and then ask the south beach local bus driver to let you know when you've hit 15th st on west ave. trip will cost $2 for the 150 airport flyer and $.25 for the south beach local. much cheaper. hope this helps. detailed route maps are available on the first post.

and some of those short bus routes on miami beach you could probably just walk. but if you wanted to take the bus then it all sounds right.
Doubt it. I've never seen that station open for any Ultra or ever for that matter. Does anyone know why they closed it? It would be perfect for events bicentennial, or for the museum they're going to build there. Only thing I can think of is that too many bums were getting off there and staying in the park.
