SC is a great game, if you can get past the terrible UI and ancient graphics. Its still getting played a lot (or so I hear).

lol that game is garbage. pretty much a supcom.

i moved to HoN, where i played IHs (in house because your a scrub, you probably dont even know what an IH is) with the top clans and played regularly with some of the top players. proof:

this time this won't go down

talk to me next time your in a vent with people that joke about making your yearly salary in a sponsorship.

floyd741: yeah it's still very much around. i know team liquid and iccup still cover it pretty high. north america competitive scene i know of is iccup, don't know how bnet is for NA, i think still somewhat popular. the game is still massive in eu thou.

don't listen to pkc he knows nothing and just plays faggot wii games. the interface and graphics are fine. if you wanna spend the time to take on the learning curve start off on bnet, watch some team liquid replays and then try your hand at iccup.

lol kid (pkc) you make me laugh so hard

fo sho.

seriously speaking though i wish i was a pro gamer. it might get boring after awhile though. i dont have the dedication or time to practice or get into it as much as they do.

those guys make like 100k+ yearly not including all the probono shit just doing the one thing they love, playing fucking games.

look at fatal1ty. the kid has his own business and major companies naming shit after him.

as on OT: i love how idiots rip on gaming. yeah lets all downplay a massive industry and insult a hobby / passion, what are you fucking retarded? its like insulting people for collecting records / djing / reading books / watching movies. just a different scene you don't give a fuck about

I have a friend that was a pro gamer for a couple of years. You want me to get him to give you a call? I'm sure he could give you a hand learning the basics of what pro gaming requires.
