here's the newest predictions of the ash movements btw..looks like it's about to turn more to the west on that last one.. i also just read that the airspace above middle norway will be opened temporarily from 12.00 today and northern scotland and Ireland may follow soon, so it seems they dont need to wait too long after the ash has passed, before they can start the traffic again..

yeah, when i served in the army on the norwegian-russian border, i was actually further away from my home in oslo, than my friend who lives in milan (which is why I know that distance)

what's even more fun is that the mentioned fooball team have a new match in tromsø on sunday, so they barely have time to get home till the match.. but of course their opponent have a problem as well!!
