Christopher Lawrence
=============
Voted the #4 DJ in the World by DJ Magazine's prestigious 'Top 100' poll for 2006, Christopher Lawrence is recognized worldwide as one of the World's top DJs and producers. Dubbed "A Superstar DJ" by the US's URB and "One Of The Most Popular DJs On The Global Circuit" by DJ Magazine, Christopher Lawrence is one of the biggest, most respected and popular names in dance music today. Once an outsider in a world dominated by European and UK DJs, Christopher has risen to the top of the international dance music heap. He is now considered one of the key global players and America's leading dance music export, playing his tough techno trance sets main stage at the world's biggest festivals and superclubs.

Over the past few years, Christopher has received numerous awards and accolades. Winner of "Best American DJ" at the IDMA's and named the #3 Trance DJ in the World by BPM Magazine's 'America's Favorite DJ' poll for 2006, Christopher is also a recent recipient of the "Best DJ" at both the Dancestar US Awards and Los Angeles Music Awards. Christopher has additionally been nominated in Dancestar UK Awards, DJ Awards, International Trance Awards, Global DJ Mix Awards and IDMA's to name a few. Christopher has also graced the covers of countless magazines, newspapers and publications worldwide.

Described as the "Biggest DJ in the USA" by the BBC's Radio 1, Christopher clocks up over a quarter of a million frequent flyer miles a year and a list of international events too long to mention. In the past year alone, Christopher has toured China, United Kingdom, Mexico, Ibiza, Australia, Taiwan, Netherlands, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Japan, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Malaysia, Colombia, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Greece, Russia, El Salvador, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, Romania, Slovenia, Panama, Indonesia, Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, Thailand, Guatemala, and Canada. One need look no further than the top international clubs and dance festivals to find Christopher's name.

Meanwhile, back in the US, Christopher continues to be one of the countries most sought after DJs, headlining high profile events from San Francisco's Love Fest and Sony's 'Playstation 2 Tour' to Arnold Schwazzeneger's 'Terminator III' party. He has played the famed Coachella festival more than any other DJ, and was also the only US DJ invited to headline all three of the inaugural Ministry Of Sound, Cream and Gatecrasher tours of America.

Described as "A Highly Respected Producer" by Mixmag, Christopher won a preliminary Grammy nomination in 2002. With a discography of groundbreaking tracks, Christopher's notable releases 'Attention', 'Scorcher', 'Shredder', 'Renegade', 'Rush Hour', 'Cruise Control', 'October's Child' and bootleg remixes such as 'Batman Begins' have been hammered by DJs from Paul van Dyk and Tiesto to Paul Oakenfold.

This past several years have been Christopher's biggest to date on both the DJ and production front, following the release of two artist albums. His debut album 'All Or Nothing' and the follow up, 'Un-Hooked', a retrospective of Christopher's work for Hook Recordings, both topped the iTunes dance charts and met with widespread chart and critical acclaim from the worlds toughest critics from Rolling Stone to the Washington Post. Christopher's music has soundtracked everything from TV shows such as MTV's 'Real World', to Matchbox Car DVDs to computer games including 'Need for Speed 2' bringing an entirely new audience to Christopher.

In the late nineties, Christopher established himself as one of the US's biggest selling DJs selling over a quarter of a million mix CDs following a string of record breaking releases including 'Rise', 'Temptation', 'United States of Trance' and 'Around The World'.

After lengthy delays, Christopher's label Pharmacy Electronic Music was officially launched in 2006 with Christopher's most recent mix 'Subculture' being described by Jive Magazine as "The Best Trance Album of the Year!", reiterating the fact that Christopher continues to be one of the World's most evolving and respected DJs.

On the big screen, Christopher has appeared in 'Midsummernight's Rave', as well the documentaries 'Liquid Vinyl', 'Intellect', 'Put The Needle On The Record', 'World Party On Tour' and 'American Massive' to name a few. A music video for Christopher's single, Freefall, shot at California's Electric Daisy Carnival has also been featured on television around the world.

In the world of international dance culture, there are DJs who are leaders and those who are followers. Christopher Lawrence is a true leader.

Always pushing the limits, Christopher gained attention with the release of his new website, which was nominated in the "Best Music Website" category of both the SXSW and the Webby Awards, which are considered the Academy Awards of web design. Designed by the groundbreaking and award winning 2Advanced, Christopher's website became a benchmark in the DJ arena. Check it out at http://www.christopherlawrence.com

FEI-FEI (Feided)
=========
Take a deep breath. Because once Fei-Fei takes the decks, you won't have time to come up for air. "

This ferocious DJ and producer has captivated audiences worldwide with her pounding mix of trance and techno and you can be sure there's some serious competition for the male DJ's around the world. But don’t let her looks deceive you--She's at the top of her game and has taken the industry by storm. In the past few years she has signed to several of the most critically acclaimed record labels in dance music—Armada Music, home to Armin Van Buuren and Vandit Records, home to Paul Van Dyk. She’s also signed to Discover Dark, John Askew’s label, as FFW, featuring an even darker side of Fei-Fei. Watch out later this year for a huge vocal trance hit on Armada! She has wowed fans all over the world with a slew of chart topping productions, remixes and mix compilations and has garnered respect from several of the industry giants--Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Carl Cox, Above and Beyond, and Eddie Halliwell. With residencies and gigs across the world, regular radio appearances and releases on the most respected labels, nothing can stop her. Fei-Fei has made her mark and is about to take over.

Cody Shelton (from American Idol)
=====================
Cody has been in the entertainment industry since he was 8 years old. Composing & writing his own songs and having a powerhouse voice. This gift has helped to take him to places he has dreamed of. His most recent accomplishment was with "THE" one and only AMERICAN IDOL. Auditioning and making it all the way through the grueling & brutal competitions of hollywood week and was one of the final 52 still standing. With a final cut to make top 36 Cody was cut at roughly #40..so close.It was heartbreaking to so many people,especially to Cody. What a great experiece and honor to meet so many talented and wonderful people. Cody has only just begun. There are many chapters to be written. He is ready to begin.

DMX Krew
======
The first DMX Krew release was 1995's "Got You On My Mind" on Dutch label DAP, and this was followed in 1996 by "Sound Of The Street" on Aphex Twin's label Rephlex. This record hinted at what was to come with its mix of instrumental electro, synthpop and techno made on vintage equipment. Lots more releases followed, mainly through Rephlex but also on diverse labels including International Deejay Gigolos, Ersatz Audio, Sonic Groove and several others. DMX Krew remixes have also appeared of various artists including Gentle People, Biochip C, Denki Groove, Le Car and many others.

In 1997 Ed DMX started his label Breakin' Records which gained a cult following as one of the UK's first electro and bass labels with releases from DMX Krew and under the alias Computor Rockers, as well as first signings Bass Junkie and Mandroid. Later Breakin' branched into other sounds with the signing and debut releases of acid maestro Ceephax Acid Crew, and the synthpop of G. D. Luxxe. In 2000 as EDMX, Ed became one of the first non-Detroit artists to make and release Ghetto-style electro tunes on the successful MPC Trax series of 12"s and the sell-out mix CD Bass mix. Later Detroit artists Digitek, 313 Bass Mechanics and Disco D also released on Breakin' / MPC Trax.

The last three albums and pair of 7" singles released on Rephlex under the umbrella of "The Collapse Of The Wave Function" reveal a deeper, more considered side to his production, featuring ambient and experimental tracks as well as quirkier dancefloor fillers.

Ed has performed all around the world both as a DJ and as a live act, including several US tours with and without the Rephlex crew, most of western and northern Europe and a lot of eastern Europe too, numerous tours in Japan including WIRE99 in front of 8000 people with Derrick May and Denki Groove in the Yokohama Arena. In 2004 DMX Krew appeared for the first time in Australia and he continues to play out most weekends.

Ronin Selecta (Bassdrive, Michigandnb.com, Bangtech12)
===================================
Ronin Selecta has many accomplishments locally and Nationwide. In 2000, he performed at the inaugural D.E.M.F. as the first Drum and Bass Headliner. To follow up this performance, he compiled and recorded "Unity Gain" Michigan's First and Only all D & B compilation featuring 14 exclusive tracks all on one cd all mixed from acetate dubs. The papers reviewed it and again complimented him on success awarding him four stars. Following the 2006 D.E.M.F. the Detroit Free Press heralded Ronin Selecta as "The Highlight of the First Day of the Festival."

From 1997 to the present day, Ronin Selecta has been a Dj for Rewind! Records which is headed by Todd Osborn. Ronin only performs under this label when he is playing their style of Ragga Mashup Jungle. His other current project began in 2005 where Aaren is a host for Sociopathdnb on Bassdrive Radio which is the number one online Drum and Bass Radio Station. The show was started alongside Dj Temulent from the Ohm Resistance / OBliterati record label.

Joey Pistols (Bassline Mondays, Michigandnb.com, Optimus Bass, Necto)
====================================

Since the turn of the century, Joe Purdue AKA Joey P, has been moving the crowds with nothing more than two turntables, a mixer, and a record bag. Joe played Drum and Bass records weekly at The Grand Café in Farmington, with a residency that lasted the better part of two years, from 2001-2003. Not just Michigan has seen Joe every week, record bag in hand. The state of Florida also had the privilege of seeing him every week at a night called PS14 in South Beach from 2005-2006. Joe has also been a hired gun at some of Michigan’s top Drum and Bass parties. The summer of 2007 received his sounds at Jungle Juice at The Works in Detroit, and also Bump the Funk and Simply Delicious at the Labyrinth during DEMF. Even before this he was a regular guest at Substance in Detroit and Hydro Mondays in Ann Arbor. Some drum and bass fanatics in Michigan might recognize the name of Hydro Mondays. This night at The Necto was headed up by Ann Arbor’s own, Ronin Selecta and FatCal. This night came to an end in August of 2007, with a spectacular finale featuring Soundmurderer, Submorphics, and Detroit’s own DJ Seoul. The following week was Labor Day here in the United States, and many of Ann Arbor’s Junglists left The Necto that night unsure of the fate of weekly Drum and Bass in Ann Arbor. Mr. Perdue never missed a beat. The following week proceeded as usual, but with a different mission. Joey P was selected to head up a new vision of the night called Bassline, that had the same hard hitting core of Drum and Bass, but with added diversity of non Drum and Bass acts, drawing from Michigan’s deep and pure electronic music talent pool. The inaugural night was kicked off with the usual bang, with special guest DJ Nimbus from Breakloose Detroit, along with up and coming producer and DJ Jeremy “Sinistarr” Howard. The night is now as potent as it ever was adding local hard-hitter Sandoz as a resident DJ at the Necto. For almost 3 years, the Necto has seen many of Michigan’s favorite DJs playin all styles to back up Joe’s diverse selections. Detroit’s DJ Seoul of the Detroit Techno Militia and Bang Tech 12, Dilemma of Breakloose Detroit, DJ Nimbus of Breakloose, Matt Hagerty of Sub Pressure and Rouge Dubs, and Submorphics have all graced the night, that is still hosted by the omnipresent Teddy MC and Yoda of Hydro fame with periodic appearances and collaborations with Ann Arbor’s favorite Raggae act, King Jazzy. The last few years have been making the night grow stronger. With such world famous talent like Gridlok, Capital J, Calculon, Random Movement, Radiata, Spktrm, Friske, and Placid. Joey P aka Joey Pistols has become a staple in the Michigan dnb scene. Last year he shared the stage with one of his all time favorite Djs: DJ Dara, member of the world famous American Drum and Bass outfit, Planet of the Drums at The Works in Detroit. 2009 saw Joey play alongside Sandoz at Lava Bar in Chicago at their Liquid Night, joined by MC King Jazzy. If you like hard tunes, liquid rollers or anything in between Joey Pistols is a dj you don't want to miss, whether he’s playing an old school jungle set, fresh techy smashers, smooth rolling liquid funk or even Dubstep, Joey Pistols has yet to run out of ammunition for the speakers, he’s always reloading.
