The Sensation MCs and Intors were just unbelievable...
Especially the MC and intro for Mauro Picotto

guys relax, we shouldn't shoot the MC at Impulz 2002. We should just cut his nuts off and then buy him a hooker or something

I usually don't mind the radio voiceovers like Pete Tong or whoever, but when they are speaking Dutch and don't shut up (eg the dude who hosts ASOT) its fricken annoying..

Good MC-ing:
Marco V @ Club Eau 22-11-01 (the one posted on TA a while back)
I just love at the end when Marco is spinning Sunset in Ibiza and the MC dude is going "one of the top DJs of the Netherlands, give some respect, to Mr Marco V-eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"

Woeful MC-ing:
Impulz 2002 - STFU we don't f@@ken care who is in control!!
Qontact 2002 - F##KEN GET ON WITH IT U STUPID WHORE!!
Dutch Dimension 2002 - MC = very very ordinary
Darren Emerson NYE 2002 @ Bondi Beach - "come off the shoulders please, and party safely" .. like WTF??!?

Basically, MCs should be locked in a basement with their mouths taped shut. And forced to listen to "BLACKHOLE IN CONTROL, BLACKHOLE IN CONTROL" on repeat

If we move onto D'n'B MC's, can anyone understand what the fuck they are saying?

Its sounds like "MC SKibadee on the mic, wid da bididididid mic???
They spout gibberish and say , like , one word that can be understood!

They just chat bollocks!

As I said, there were of course other parts where he should've kept his mouth shut.Like this one.

I totally agree. Those jingles are just so fucking annoying, the producer responsible for playing them should be shot.I remember it almost ruined the entire mood of Oakey's NEC set last year.He dropped the spine-chillingly beautiful Chiller Twist-remix of "Open Your Eyes" by Insigma after totally blowing my mind with Van Bellen - 20/20 (Saints + Sinners Mix).I was on the verge of tears when those idiotic jingles came in for like a WHOLE FUCKING MINUTE!!!!!! Damn, that pissed me off.

But then again, the djs at Radio 1 usually do a great job when it comes to voiceovers, especially Pete Tong.I remember him @ The Love Weekend last summer:

"They can take away our parade, but they can't take away our love for the music!!!(LOTS of screaming) Ladies and Gentlemen,THIS is Radio 1 on the Love Weekend, and THIS is what Newcastle sounds like this evening!!(HUGE scream from the crowd)"

Just listening to it on the Radio gave me goosebumps, and I wished even more that I was there. So respect to the R1 djs for knowing when to shut up and let the music speak, and when to yell for hyping the atmosphere.

Of course! How could I forget this guy.He really got it right that time. That part during the breakdown of Three Drives - Sunset In Ibiza (A&B Remix) when he goes "Please, give some respect,to Mister MARCO V-EEEEEEEEE!!!!",and the whole track blows up in your face is just brilliant.I just felt like screaming on top of my lungs when I first heard that part.GREAT timing. That's what it's all about.

I like Pete Tong's intros on the EMs, but he can shut up during the set.
