That's different for DJ's! The one's who REALLY get into it love playing, and playing longer! Whenever I'm offered to "go as long as I want"... I won't stop til the sun comes out Unless they have a prior engagement in the a.m. or something, I would assume any music lover DJ would keep going. That's always the best news ever. "go as long as you want" W00T!

Wow, I am blown away if you took what I said as that you even remotely implied that. Like, for real?

Obviously after Johnny's comments, I was just thinking SvD will end up playing a nice long set. I was wrong. OOPS! Sorry.

And do I literally need to include a little note below EVERY post stating that what I'm saying is of my own accord and not in any way related to and club, promoter, DJs, etc that I may or may not be associated with. I usually just save wasting my time typing that out on posts where I know someone could try to run it....guess I should have this time.

If something I say is any way supposed to be taken as official, I make it clear. Otherwise, it's just me spewing out shit from my mouth so take it as that. Shit.

I only use my sig when it's an official spundae thing, too. Another sign usually.

But I've noticed TA has had sigs turned off a whole ton lately. It appears to be back on now, though.

SvD played a nice SHORT set....I really feel bad for those who had to wait in line for who knows how long. They simply weren't letting people in but I am sure they had a reason.

All in all it was a good (early) night.

Well, I can tell you what I know,

I arrived at 10:59 pm and 30 seconds, I barely made it into the guest list line and got my stamp. My buddy was 5 min late so he had to wait in the GA line. Me being a good friends, and knowing we had time, I waited in line with him...That probably saved us $50 in drinks right there! (Thanks Ruby Skye!)

The line didn't budge and it was going around the corner. Sander showed up in his car at around 11:45. I had just checked before that and the main floor was half empty, the upstairs lounge thing, and the balcony deserted. After Sander entered, they started letting people through GA.

you decide what that means...

Ah, they don't normally do this, because it is Vegas shit, which works well for tourists who won't come back. Besides, here in San Francisco, if you let people wait outside for an hour, you are going to lose 1/3 of your alcohol sale.

Ruby Skye usually gets the crowd moving before the headliner come on stage. Sander is a pretty big DJ, don't understand why they didn't do that for him. That might be a reason why Sander spun a short set.

I don't think Ruby was intentionally holding the line. Can't say for sure but I've never seen them do it in the past. Ruby's a fu-fu club, yes, but not an LA or Vegas type club. But I could be wrong.
