Not heard much but what I have is usually a bit prog-tech for my tastes. The artists I recognise on their roster are also not names I follow. The techy side of prog can be done well, but I personally am not interested in playing that sound.

Well I find that a lot of "progressive house" these days sounds really fluffy and while the arrangement and the melodies are usually well done, generally these tracks seem to be lacking in the low-end/bass, which is really what prog is all about. I guess that applies to this label as well but it seemed pretty decent so I thought I'd get your opinion on it.

Yea, I actually bought the original earlier, but the Eelke Kleijn remix is also really nice.

I agree that a lot of this Mistique-style prog is just glorified ambient music, and I think way too much of it gets lost in pretty twinkly spacey layers that's just empty ear-candy. The prog-tech stuff has a more dancefloor-friendly bottom end, but I don't really get much out of the techy percussion, the sidechained bass, the stabbing synths, the white-noise builds, the way the atmospheric parts are confined to breakdowns. Those sounds are seriously played out.

EDIT: That Eelke Kleijn remix is pretty nice though. Definitely the stand-out track from what I've heard.

hahaha I feared s such! Not the first time it has happened to me that's for sure. But the original, being slightly more minimal in its nature, at least I see it fitting in my sets better (which are closer to deep house than prog).

Was worried this would be waaaaaaaaay too cheesy. Not as good as his other works, but it still has some quality.

Sounds like every other prog breaks track though...
