I have had LEAN GRASS-FED FREE-RUN BEEF before, but it was over 13 years ago. I must say that organic and naturally derived meat and milk products TASTE BETTER! Especially milk, oh it tastes much much better when its done the old way |
Yup, grass fed is coming back. Most grass fed beef is only 90%, and they still finish with grain/corn. Sometimes Row Farms has 100% grass fed; it is very lean, with very little fat on it, which is why most farmers finish with grain or corn.
I've had organic and 'regular' milk, and I have not noticed a difference in this country, it tastes the same, but is twice as expensive. What does taste different (and better) is non-pasteurized milk.
