lol..did we meet? I met a bunch of people but that place got sooo packed it was unbelievable. I was up front for the 1st 2 hours of oakies set and got really over heated. they totally need more ventilation in that place. I started getting sick from the heat and no matter where i went i couldn't cool down, i even tried the hip hip room and it was just as bad, a non stop sea of people. Luckily i met a nice group of people who invited me into their VIP.
I still had a great time. I enjoyed Oakies set and thought he played a lot of good tracks. although i was a little disappointed he didn't seem to spin for 2 long. i guess im used to the good ole days when dj's would do 6 hour sets, and i thought for sure he would have played sex n money but he didn't.

iam the same way, trance sets for the most part are very predictable
i mean theres just alot more exposure between every dj haveing a radio show and dj's just whoreing out their own productions and the same old songs
there are very few trance dj's that do it for me these days, times have changed i guess but yea thats why iam goin back to listenin to house mostly as well as techno cause its always something new and fresh and the crowd/vibe is different
there are soooooo many good trance tracks out there this year but again its just not getting exposure from alot of dj's
Agreed! I totally feel the same way about trance lately and that's why I've been into house/techno lately.

I thought Oakenfold played pretty solid last night, def one of the best I've seen him. Had a great time playing as well, and really appreciate everyone sticking it out till the end!
Pretty good night I have to say. I agree that it was super packed!! I kept waiting for some room to be made but as the hours went on it was still like a sardine can!
Brad you played some interesting songs there, I liked that vibe you had going there. I ran out of energy from trying the melbourne shuffle though!! LoL

I thought Oak was FANTASTIC, I am now a fan !!!
The opening DJ was uneventful... in the sense it lacked energy...
I guess the lack of energy from the opener was what made Oak so great with his sets.
Brad Miller started out very good, but I felt he lost stamina at around 4am to 4:30am... So I decided to leave... hey, maybe it was me that lost the energy... lol...

I don't think it was that packed, but I got upstairs after I stopped spinning in the basement at 2. I want to thank everyone for the good turnout in the basement. I really had a blast spinning, and people really seemed to be enjoying themselves.
As for Oakies set. I though it was good. I mean all I heard was his classic stuff, which you can't go wrong with. Brad i though did an amazing job afterwards. I stayed to about 5:30 I think.
I think overall it was a fun night with solid music, and that's pretty much all I ask for.
When you played Ruff Drivers presents arrola- Dreaming....I almost DIED!!!! thank you for that....such an AMAZING classic i rarely ever hear played out.
edit: not sure if that was the exact mix, but you know what i mean!!
