Also, Global Security is a very reliable source that has access to tons of federal documents which their articles are based on. You can even read them yourself.

No reason to get all butthurt when you realize you are wrong for being skeptical. It's silly.

I was asking for a reliable source from a predictable internet douche-bag persona. Considering who I was asking and for what, you didn't disappoint. Butt-hurt over my presumably negated skepticism? Not at all; especially when you had to scroll down to the bottom of an article you had previously skimmed on FOAB to find the BBC source just to prove that you weren't.

Take a minute. Breath. Reread everything that you've posted.

You're hilarious and are making me laugh.

Also, the fact that you assume that I "Skimmed" over articles is quite humorous. You're being quite the presumptuous child and won't be satisfied until I reach your standard of what a reliable source is.

Hrmmm. You should be crying, right now. What could possibly have gone wrong?

Confirmed: Russian spies really, really dumb:

quote:
One of the most glaring errors made by one of the spy defendants was leaving an imposing 27-character password written on a piece of paper that law enforcement officers found while searching a suspect’s home. They used the password to crack open a treasure trove of more than 100 text files containing covert messages used to further the investigation.

“The paper said “alt,” “control” and set forth a string of 27 characters,” the court documents say. “Using these 27 characters as a password, technicians have been able successfully to access a software program (“Steganography Program”) stored on those copies of the Password-Protected Disks that were recovered…”…

The spy ring had numerous technical problems, including file transfers that hung and wouldn’t go through and difficulty replacing laptops when necessary. In one case, an agent was so frustrated by laptop issues that she unwittingly turned it over to an undercover FBI agent.

Ahh but wait... surely, our red headed beauty wasn't that dumb. Right?

Those who knew Chapman from the social and club scenes described her as “sweet,” “flirtatious” and “friendly” — sometimes too friendly. She also had problems keeping her cover stories straight.

“She made up a different story every time,” he said.

“The first time, she said she ran a real-estate Web site. Then the next time, she was working on an oil deal. Then she told me she was a derivatives trader. I asked her one thing any derivatives trader would know and she didn’t know what I was talking about,” he said. “She was just dumb, quite frankly.”

Alas... finally an interview in English. She actually looks pretty hot in this one.

More details emerging

quote:
Russian femme fatale Anna Chapman collecting space program secrets

It has emerged that accused Russian spy Anna Chapman, arrested earlier this week, was collecting information about the US space program.

The striking redhead allegedly used her charm and influence to extract sensitive information from unwitting sources, in particular regarding the development of the next-generation space shuttle and the proposed anti-ballistic missle defence shield. This information was then allegedly relayed to Moscow through a weekly meeting with her Russian contact. It is unknown exactly how long Ms Chapman had been meeting with her alleged contact, or how much sensitive information had been stolen.

In addition to the weekly meetings with her contact, Ms Chapman allegedly used other means to relay information, including so-called "dead-drops", where document packages are left for other spies to collect, or coded emails using "one time pads" - single use uncrackable codes. In one instance, she and her boyfriend even made a coded video which was uploaded on the video-sharing website, Youtube. The sending of messages in plain sight is a relatively common means of relaying material with a long history of success, sources said.

An FBI spokesman told reporters "We will never comment about an ongoing investigation regarding national security."
