how accurate is this "you don't have to worry about viruses"? i find that hard to believe for one and i think it's a shit argument. i'm pretty sure the lack of malevolence coincides with the types of people using the computers and not the computers themselves.

That's actually somewhat true. Most Hackers and virus programmers write their viruses to attack PCs for the most part. You can affect more people that way.

i have a mac mini running 10.6.4 and pc running windows7. i have been a dos/windows user since around 1984 when i got my first pc (xt) until i bought this mac. i definitely prefer the mac

I built a hackintosh to run Logic and have OSX 10.5.8 with usually no problems Dual boot with XP for owning face in TF2 as well.

Cost me about $1300 but, that was when core 2 quad had just came out. It could be done cheaper very easily.

You don't have to worry about viruses no matter what you buy. Unless you're a fucking idiot, in which case I highly recommend buying a Mac.

You still have to worry about getting a virus no matter what OS you are on. On a mac you just have a smaller chance of catching a virus, but the possibility of catching it is there
