1 x 140 GB internal HDD (10,000 RPM)
1 x 500 GB internal HDD
1 x 640 GB external HDD
1 x 4 GB USB stick

Also have a couple of laptops in the house with combined storage space of over 1TB. I also have several older hard drives lying around but they're either corrupt or infected with major viruses so I didn't bother listing them.

Finally, hoping to purchase a second external hard drive. Although both are quite different, I'll either be going with a network drive or an ultra-portable one. The former interests me more because of the possibilities, rather than any practical application I would have for it at this point in time.

Of course it's rape photos. And bird photos Bare in mind, a single photo in RAW format from my camera is nearly 20MB in size.

And I do large format printing, remember? Usually, I'm working with very very large files for that. The main reason for the external drives is for backing up though. The 2TB drive is set to automatically back up certain folders off my computer once a day, and I manually put stuff on the other external about once a week.

300 GB harddrive on macbook pro
500 GB external connected via firewire 800, used as backup and light additional storage

Have no reason to store much... I'm picky about the movies/shows I keep and ebooks take up jack shit in terms of space.

The largest portion of my hard drive consists of hi-res photos that I have taken over the years. I have more photos than music.
