What is this "problem"? You don't like the high-low pluck pattern?
There are a couple songs in that video that sound the same. But there are also a bunch that don't. The only thing the guy is comparing is two notes (high then low). All the melodies are pretty much different...
Temple One is a producer where every one of his tracks have that pattern. And I'm surprised Adam Nickey showed up on there a couple times too.
But in the end this is music, and a lot of music sounds the same. How many rock songs have you heard with screaming verses then a "clean" chorus? How many songs have had only the drum/vocals bridging the final chorus before the guitars hit?
There's a lot of similar elements in music, and the high-low pluck pattern is one of them.

it's not only the high-low pattern, the complete melody built around that pattern is exactly the same, the changes in melody occur always on the exact same moment in every track and only consist of a rather dull and predictable notes.

Osterzone would be fucking all over this if he'd figured this out himself but since us "trolls" posted it first he has to disagree out of principle.

Either that, or he is dumb AND deaf.
I saw you responded to this thread.
I opened the thread, knowing already that it would be a troll response from you.
And guess what? Yeah...it was. And you think I'm the one at fault for not trying to have a discussion with you

I found most formulaic trance to be rather dull and boring, and now i know why.
Copying or emulating melodic lines is not just lame, it kills innovation.
I'm glad i subconsciously hungered for fresh and new tracks, not just rehashed garbage.
