These are some rare jewels I picked up:
Rabbit in the Moon - Phases of an Out of Body Experience 12"(Hallucination US) SEALED
Frontside - Dammerung 12" (Abducted Recordings Australia) apparently only 1500-2000 copies worldwide. featured on S&D's Northern Exposure Series.
Orkidea - Unity 12" (SteelBlue Fish Limited one-sided Promo) Also a rare piece featured on Gatecrasher Red. BTW, Sasha played this tune on NYE 99. Got 2 MINTIES
Pulser - Cloudwalking 12" (ATCR) Got 2 copies
Gabrielle - Rise Remixes 12" (Forgot) Brilliant remix by Matt Darey.
Free Radicals - Summer Breeze 12" (DanceNet) Not to be confused with the UK FRs, this trio is from Australia. Brillant production by Ivan Gough, Andy Page and Phil K. Trancy breaks. Featured on Ministry of Sound Australian Tour 1996 mixed by DJ Heaven <--- Babe DJ who plays progressive trance.
Allegro - Moments in Love 12" (Red Active) Featured on the best ITWT CD Series. The rare remix is the "Svenson Remix" which kicked the melodies out of the original. Brilliant.
Rabbit in the Moon - Deeper/Dusk 12" (Hallucination limited) Only 500 copies of this purple-coloured vinyl. Nice progressive track.
Ayu - M EP --> certainly a very limited 300 copies worldwide. But I for one wonders if anyone would persuade them to repress. It's AvexTraxx. Hmm...
Anyways....down to the bottom line, whether the record is rare or not does not matter...it's how you slot them into your mixes to make it seem sensible.
I would be caught dead starting my set off with Pulser - Cloudwalking The promos are coming out soon....with new mixes...
Yay!
