They did do a remix of Vengaboys, which is probably where the connection comes from.

And why no love for their work behind Candee Jay!? I'd rather watch a video of her than all that po-faced serious nonsense in the one for Falling Skys (or whatever it's called).

It's no sillier than people going on about Oliver Hunetemann who maybe don't realise he made some of the silliest fun-synth trance under his kaycee alias.

It never really bothered me if some "decent" producers made money off some absolute guff as long as they also kept providing the good stuff and kept the work separate.

Sadly that's not the case here.
