If you want to even start to figure out what the answer to all of these questions about reality, pain, existence, our purpose and roles... you have to finalize and figure out some other things.
You must define the words reality, existence, being, emotion, and a few other words that you're unsure about or that have questionable definition.
After that... try to define the word definition, without basing it on a societal influence or basis.
You have to get quite neutrally philisophical to even start to decipher the questions we're asking here.
Personally I don't think we humans are intellectually capacitated enough to even begin to understand where and what and why about what we're asking.

yep. that's what i'm talking about. all those "reality", "existence", "emotion", etc. are what they are because we created them with our thoughts and comprehension of what they should be.
and truly, that last paragraph supports my concept that we are that blind person who cannot see the colors. or the deaf person that cannot hear that new banging trance tune. how can you describe to someone what trance is and what it feels like without letting them hear it?
the question i was wondering about is if we actually create our life around, shape it in a way we like. sorta like swimming in the river, but you choose where to be in the stream of water and what other beings are next to you. you may say no, because the things you wish for rarely come true. but think about this: do you really want, need those things? do you really, ABSOLUTELY desire that new car? the wishes that come true are those essential ones, the ones that live deep inside your mind and sometimes you don't even know they are there.
it's not really instinctive, more subconscious. ask yourself: are you happy with what you are, with who you are, with what you have? say, you are a loner and don't go out that much. of course, theoretically, you'd wish you'd go out and go to parties and be a popular person and stuff, but do you REALLY wish that? does your mind want to be that? would you feel comfortable doing that, or would your mind be wishing of being alone with your thoughts at home, instead of partying crazy at some hot chick's house?
damn it, i got myself confused.
btw, i'm listening to Max Graham - Airtight (Original Mix) right now and it's just so freaking beautiful...
