I loved how he opened w/ Time of our lives and closed w/ Home. Then in between how he played some really ol' school kinda of tracks. My favorite part of the entire night was being able to watch him use Albeton, his controller, and keyboard to play chords and some of the melodies overtop beat driven tracks. It was also cool to see how when he dropped the main drum tracks how it was all triggered by a single push of a button on the controller.
I also got to see how he laid out his set. He had it all situated in Albeton in three parts. He didn't do any "live warping" but there were multiple tracks situated in the same instance that another was playing and through the night, I was able to decipher that those were indeed drums tracks that he used to beef us the main song that was being played.
I learned so much from just watching him play. Just wow!
