Not only me, but it's been admitted by Serato that the quality on the SL1 is not as good as Traktor's. I've done tests with both setups and you can hear the difference. On the other hand, the quality of the SL3 is pretty close that it's hard to tell a clear winner. Just go to the Serato boards and look it up there. You'll see what I'm talking about.

Then you should be stating that in the guide you made up, otherwise it's misleading.
I've got SL3 and I've seen Traktor used many times. There is no difference at all.
Update: I got the Hercules RMX and I love it. Highly recommended for anybody looking to get started in DJing, and sturdy enough to use live if you have the opportunity to do so.
If you're a Virtual DJ guy (like myself), it's a no-brainer as far as entry-level is concerned. Only downside is that it doesn't work well for scratching, but for EDM it's great.
