Reaktor, (which "the finger" is built on) is the best tool for glitchy productions you can find. I've been using it to chop up old disco samples recently. I'll probably post some shit on here soonish. It doesn't work well live though, since you basically have to bounce stuff back to disc to get it in time etc. So I guess the finger and that sort of stuff still has its place. I just like the extra control and options reaktor offers.

Do you have Kore2, kit? The Finger works great for live use with the Kore2 controller - everything is mapped to the knobs/switches so real-time glitchiness is a blast. I have no idea how well using Reaktor with Kore2 to chop stuff in real-time would work, though, cuz I haven't tried it and I barely know my way around Reaktor.

Nah, I had Kore 1. Not getting burnt by that again. I like synths and stuff that makes sounds. Not knobs and librarians and players for overpriced presets etc.

I'm sure the finger's good though, definately better than reaktor for live use. But you can't really load a sample in and scroll through it in real time, since its an effect not a sampler at heart.

Another little demo/remix I threw together this evening using "No One Knows", a song that I wrote with Aliciya Angel. Stutter Edit was used on the vocals, and all the drum fills were created using it as well.
