Why so, I think I'm missing something?

In terms of dancing DJs you can't beat this guy. But man anyone who watches this guy without going WTF at least a couple times is not normal...

they do listen to the music obviously, but virtually everyone in the crowd be it Guvernment or the electric daisy festival, all face the dj if he/she is semi popular. But yeah otherwise at top 40 clubs or if a no name dj is playing, then they normally don't face the dj.

I guess the dj is the new rock star and ppl expect some sort of interaction. Like even the djs that barely interact...as soon as they lookup to the crowd an start clapping or do something ppl start cheering/dancing harder

To me, what the DJ is doing has to be natural. Too many DJs look like they are forced to do jesus pose or doing a jig or whatever because they feel it's what the crowd expects them to do.

Just because a DJ is looking serious on the decks, it doesn't mean he's having a bad time. It could mean he's too busy concentrating on picking the next tune, or whatever.

I'm not talking about the Armin jesus pose or anything like that. I'm just saying when it looks like the DJ is having a good time, it definitely adds something imo. I've seen Digweed sets where he didn't smile the entire time, not once. That doesn't mean his set suffered, quite the contrary, but if he had looked like he was enjoying himself (smiling, dancing, bobbing with the music etc.) it would have been even more enjoyable.

If you went to a rock concert, would you not watch the band perform? Silly you indeed.

That entire set was a trainwreck. The mic screaming definitely didn't help, but I was honestly really disappointed by the entire thing.

Regardless, I guess yeah maybe who is playing the music or where it's coming from doesn't matter to some people but someone is still performing. I like to at least watch what they're doing.

It is possible to look at the DJ whilst dancing, mind you.

Well I just said a few things, it's not like I was talking nonstop. It's okay to get the crowd hyped
