lol, op I get the same feeling sometimes too. It's definitely worth it to step away from the decks and come back after a couple of days with a fresh new perspective. Honestly, don't beat yourself to much on this as bedroom djing is tough to do since it requires you to be engaged when there's no energy to feed off of.

i don't get why people think a crowd and energy is essential for them to mix on point. Its math, timing, and very basic theory in terms of which frequencies to eliminate vs which ones to bring in. I don't need the whole office fist pumping at my desk to get my work done

not everyone is a robot. without a crowd i just start moaning and gets all sleepy and shit. usually also get a headache.

Have to agree with this.

Yes it's maths, timing and very basic theory. Hence it can get a little boring.

And those that play out know there is nothing better than feeding off the energy that a crowd gives off. You buzz because they're buzzing.

Ever do something really creative while mixing yet no one was there to witness it. Not the same buzz you get compared to doing it in front of a crowd and gaining a little appreciation
