^ Their last effort to do so was in trance form, so we'll see how this direction turns out. While I have my gripes with the stereotypes associated with dubstep, I can't blame them for trying to escape their shackles of paying rent for seven nights a week but only bringing in money on one.

Although I'm sure he's going to play some 4/4 house and techno, it's going to be a very diverse set with plenty of funky, 2-step and grime thrown in. And it's going to be the best kind.

rama killed it last night!

He sure did, and I was right on the money with my description. Very diverse set exploring many different sounds. Honestly, everything about this party sucked so bad but David's set made up for that many, many times over.

?

Maybe I was just drunk, but I had a great time at that party. What sucked?

I agree with Adam for the following reasons:

1. Zed Bias' set was not a very good opening for rama. he played peaktime shit before him which didn't make sense.

2. Lambi's sound system = terrible.

3. Lambi's lighting = virtually none at all. now i have bad eyes but i usually can manage in dark ass clubs just fine but last night it was just too damn dark.

4. they should have gotten rid of at least half the tables there to make more room to dance. people were bumping into the tables all night.

on the other hand rama's set was good enough to pass all those things off. crowd was obviously like 80% males but they were into it and that was cool too.

I think its the same guys that put on the Dorian Concept/Jacques Greene show i went to last week and maybe it was just me getting old but i found the night really weak. It's not my type of crowd and im not crazy about Hipster RnB also know as PBRnB

I was fine with Zed Bias going into Ramadanman, but otherwise those are all good points.

don't get me wrong though, big up to the promoters for bringing him regardless of the venue. he played some of the best music i've heard in a while
