Hi, I was looking for someone to master my track, not a lot do it for free and it seems you have good skills, so I'd be very happy if you can master my production.

Hey Atlantis I've got a track I'm about to finish, would you be down to master it for me?
I'm not exactly sure what a mixdown is, what do I need to do/send you?

Hey there, a mixdown is generally the render of the combined channels without any master effects. So just make sure you have any master effects bypassed and render your track to WAV. Then, open the WAV in an audio editor and make sure the waveform's peaks don't hit the top or bottom; if they do, lower the master fader and render again until they reach about 6 dB below (the maximum peak hits about -6.0 dB). |
Okay thanks! That was really helpful, but how do you master all the different individual sounds if you dont have access to them individually, say with the original .flp file (the project file of FL Studio - because thats the DAW I use).
