I was wondering how the show went! Was thinking of making the drive down but figured it would be a carbon copy of his Miami gig. No dude, they cut him off before he could finish his actual set, nevermind encore.
It was messed up because the whole set was awesome with big build ups then huge banging tracks, lots of trance, then all the sudden security just told him to stop and I´m pretty sure he even asked if he could at least bring it down and finish with one track but they said no. So it was a real banging track then just silence pretty much and everyone still ready to dance.
Was nice to meet him but christ let the man finish off his set, especially at the price they charged!! $50 for roughly ~1:45.

Damn, that's a bummer...I'd be a bit pissed off, especially if I made the drive!

Isn't it a rule that the promoter or someone at the club is suppose to let the DJ know a two track notice or at least last track??? Someone really screwed up...

Nice to see another, tech-house/deep house/techno junkie in Calgary. Add to that list Danny Howells, Steve Lawler, Danny Tenaglia, Dubfire, Art Department, Maceo Plex and many more Toronto/Montreal regulars.

Calgarians are unfortunately not exposed to this scene. The closest place I can think of is Habitat.

Very doubtful it will happen. No promoters are brave enough to book any of them, public are mostly just into commercial stuff and the "scene" there just overall sucks.
