haha team sls seriously ruined their name. if you check their website they claimed that day as their "track day" which was organized by c7 and they were jus there.
they obviously messed with the wrong guy (camera car) which they claimed that hit the sls s2k.
camera car was uncle raymond, from gilman auto. Ive knew him since i was little and he is a family friend of my family. and hes been tracking over 15+ years and is a very reputable driver that owns a reputable shop!
anyways i think i will be at CSCS round 3 this sunday if anyone is comming out!
i missed out the second event at the new venue (mosport) but i was there for the first one, saw the subaru flip in person!!

The world’s most astonishing illegal street race
Illegal street racing is a dangerous hobby that puts participants, spectators and innocent passers-by at risk. Which is what makes Sweden's Stockholm Open — held since 1982, run on public streets with thousands of spectators — all the more astonishing.
Where most such races are little more than "Fast and the Furious" wannabees with big blocks and small brains, the Stockholm Open is a well-organized annual event, despite protestations from police. With no rules on what vehicles can be entered other than "run what you brüng," contenders generally need to have at least enough speed to polish a quarter-mile in roughly 9 seconds and most sports race slicks and more than 1,000 hp. Previous winners have snapped off runs of 7.96 seconds, facing off against more than 50 vehicles.
As in years past, fans at this year's event were scattered around 15 sites in Stockholm to help confuse authorities about the location of the actual races. The 32-car field was described by organizers as the "baddest and hardest starting field in many years," with the cup won by a blown Camaro in the pre-dawn finale, facing off against another Camaro. The winner received this massive trophy and bragging rights until next year's run.
(If we were doing this during our east end meets, it's a legit reason for the cops to hassle us)

"Hey Raymond,
I just want to extend my sincere apology for blaming you for my accident at Cayuga. The spin out was completely my own fault. I saw a dent on my rear bumper and like an ass, because you were the car behind me, I assumed that you struck my car. My behavior towards you and your crew was completely unacceptable and disrespectful. I respect your driving skills and I am truly sorry for being a jerk.
I hope we can put this event behind us and continue to share our passion for the track.
Sincerely,
John"
nice apology... its not like he can continue blaming the guy - if there's video evidence (as you guys say, I cant see the vids) then he'll not only look like a dick, but he gon looooose!

On the topic of track days, two weeks ago I went to the Nurburgring for an afternoon of lapping.
I rented a Renaultsport Clio Cup and did 7 laps on the day.
It was massive fun and sure to be an annual thing for me. Last year I did two laps in a Suzuki Swift Sport which got me hooked. The Clio sealed the deal.

I'm not into tracking, but that's fucking rad you've been on both of these tracks.
