I've talked to leon bolier about software etc before and I'd be suprised if he had cracked copies of his software, got a screen shot for proof?
LOL at confusing magnus and magus as well, farkkkk
why not just say people, seems pretty stupid to start a name & shame thread when you don't seem to know who you're talking about
edit: it is really funny though: the suckley video has been removed now, wonder if he figured it out

True.. not quite smart to let the ppl see that you use fake software etc. But I think we should be more thankful I mean, Leon Bolier is one of those who actually made it very very far. And it is very nice of him to give us a tutorial so I find it pretty harsh calling him a retarded producer.. I talked to him once in Singapore and he said he used the Virus for making his Remix of W&W’s “The Plan” so he at least buys hardware I guess

That's even a worse attitude, stealing software as you want to spend your funds on hardware.
really guys it's bad, it's priorities, leave that DIESEL jeans alone, skip that new ARMANI T-Shirt, fuck your new i-phone-4 $40 a month subscription, 50$ drink money every weekend.
All excuses are hypocrit. It's lame and a matter of priorities.

No, i'm saying you can only spend your money once.
Don't spend it on the wrong stuff.
And don't steal stuff you don't want to spend money on it.
IT'S LAME, there is no EXCUSE.
L. Bolier even lost more credit with me, IF he was in Singapore (probably expenses fully paid) for a gig? and he appearantly isn't even willing to spend as much as cab fare on a VSTi license...
Respect is earned by respecting the people that provide u the tools.
without the tools ANY producer is jack shit.....
Or become radical and go fully shareware/open source. but PLEASE spare the the lame fucking excuses........
It's ALL about PRIORITIES

I agree (apart from the thing about Leon Bolier). If you do warez don't show it off.
Bolier is an amazing producer imo with a nice sense of humour. From what I know he's totally legal these days. For quite a while already.
If less is more think about how much more more would be.

Agreed amazing producer, but reading about little things like this, gives me an immediate unpleasant aftertaste...... good for him that he's seen the light and is grateful to what his initially pirated tools brought him.

Ridiculous topic. People who earn money from making music, DJing should have LEGAL tools (in this case software, hardware, mp3 files) - period.
If you make profit using warez, you suck and in this case Leon Bollier sucks...
ps. I'm not a plugin developer but if I can buy used Ableton Live Suite license for a price that in my coutry quite often means monthly salary then definitely others can do it too...
