If they played copyrighted music for your event, and DO NOT have a music liscence which is required for a music specialty like djs. You can sue them for what they charged you, if they are part of a large business, and have been making a living off of copyrighted acts and without a license, well than you can win big time.

Some lawyers have had private parties with dj's they knew that did not posess a license, just so they could get experience and practise in court. Evil. But. Hey. It's a dog eat dog world.

You need a license to make a living off of copyrighted labels.

Something to consider, if your wedding dj overcharged you, didnt deliver, and now you feel like being a real prick.
