My first "date" with the BF (Rich) was at an Armin show, so...

I've done the solo thing and it was very bad news. It's just not for me. I'm glad I have Rich around so I can be irresponsible and get annoyingly hammered with only a bad hangover to show for it the next day. I've lost 75% fewer phones and 100% fewer credit cards since being with him. I couldn't lose any more dignity, so no change there.

yeah my BF actually jams with me to the music. He has learned well! But I would have to pay him a large sum of money for him to get in a club, tru story.

I don't think anyone besides us (legitimate EDM fans) understand what being a true fan of EDM / seeing DJs perform is really like... so if we happen to have a significant other that isn't into it like we are, we just have to ensure them that it's 100% fine if we're traveling to see a DJ / nothing out of the ordinary for us. If they're not okay with this, then obviously that person isn't worth keeping around for the long term.

Anyway, that's just my .02.

Thats all I'm saying. What ever happen to trust being an important part of the relationship. I would LOVE if my man told me not to go see Ferry, #fuckouttahea!!

Andrew: thats crazy talk bc you know I've been with my man for 9 years and you know I go on these trips and its not shady whatsoever. You gotta step your trust game up, babes....either that, or find yourself a woman worthy of your trust

He can't fully trust Burak when he's out by himself.

respect to you man..I do a lot of stuff on my own but I've never went to europe by myself. I spoke to mykonos boy on here who went to greece by himself too. I've always been in a group (study abroad, escorted tour), well a group of strangers with whom I naturally became life-long friends in the first few days in some bar haha. but I am planning to go back to ibiza soon and doing it solo..so I'm glad to see your post : )

I've also had some of the best times of my life alone..no one I know can get 10% of the euphoria I naturally get from my music, so it's not something I can share (or want to, hehe).

I went to Amsterdam/Rotterdam for Full on Ferry by myself and it was one of the best times I have ever had. I met so many amazing people and had an entire vacation to do whatever I wanted to do!

(Oh, and my boyfriend was totally fine with me going, no quesitons asked)

sounds like a trusting & understanding bf, not many guys would be like that. but then 9 yrs is a long time, trust should be a given by then lol. I personally would never last that long in a relationship-there are just too many other things that mean much more to me..one of the things that makes vacations so great is making new friends along the way like you did, experiencing things together with them in a foreign land. much better I think than just going with a friend of your own.

kudos to you though, it's risky stuff for a girl to travel on her own.

Thanks Personally, I dont miss out on anything being in a relationship, I still live my life the way I want it, and I have him as a supplement.

I am not here to judge how others run their own relationships, its just how I run MINE. Relaionships should add to your individual life, not hinder it And thanks, I have had a great time travelling solo, with my man, and with my man AND my friends. Those are the best

aye aye aye...iam not talkin about YOU!!!
iam talking about like the stalker/groupie people (sort of like the girls we know from up north)
who i would say book atleast one weekend a month that revolves around travling to see SAME dj ha ha
what you and other people do like travel here and there to see shows and go to festivals is cool
my friends ex girlfriend loved jay-z everytime he was in ny,nj,philly etc she would go and my friend didnt have a problem...now if the girl was to travel every weekend to see him at different cities is where i find it disrespectful to the relationship and very stalkerish ha ha

seb: go comb your hair
