I don't think this makes sense. I've been on Netflix forever. And to change an entire brand just because they have "two different cost structures" .. to me that's just laziness in the accounting department. Take AT&T or Comcast. Both of those companies operate several businesses, telephony, internet, cellular. Do you not think those have different "cost structures?"
I do, I think this is a simplier way for them to take advantage of tax loopholes and maybe get some unique subsidies from a variety of sources.
Anyhow, I'll remain a "Netflix" subscriber and if there's a movie I want to see that's not on it, the "RedBox" is right down the road. And even at that, so is Blockbuster.

I actually like Netflix. I think the selection of older movies is great. Good documentaries and shit too.

I use Netflix almost exclusively for streaming documentaries, so I don't have my panties in a bunch yet.
