he has not got the skill to play techno

I just had the opportunity to see Tiesto for the first time this past Friday at the last stop for the Area 2 festival at the Gorge here in Washington state. He is the only reason I went. I was super excited to say the least. Well after it was all over, I can say his set was amazing however it did not blow me away as I expected. I have to agree in saying that I feel he is overrated. His track selection was not that amazing and I was truly surprised by this. To my surprise he dropped many older tracks. Personally, I cannot stand Lethal Industry and he just had to play that which turned me off a little. Also I'm not going to attack him personally saying he is a fag or anything for touching the sky but he did hop around in the tightest little green striped shirt I have ever seen anyone wear. I was actually surprised at how small and puny Tiesto was. He was like a little boy on those big decks! Overall I'm glad I finally got the chance to see him and he did put on a decent set.

Tiesto tours 2 much, he tours like 300 days a year.. therefore no time for new songs, etc..
He IS getting very very boring to me also.. Same songs on every set he plays..

I have seen Tiesto 4 times so far and he's been amazing all times. Sure i can admit that his newer sets are not as energetic and uplifting as before (which i do really miss) but his transition into his new style has been executed with sophistication and a unique style. The tracklist that is played by him nowadays is rich... in its own way. If any other dj were to make that transition... they would horribly fail. He's doing a good job with the style that he has,,,,, but not as good as before. However, he still plays alot of trance....like Jones and Stevensons's First rebirth, & The Prophet to name a few.
Lets hope he goes back to his style from his Eneregy 2000, Helaas Geen and Sportpalaeis sets in 2000!
