Who says it's popular to hate Tiesto?
It's all a matter of personal opinion, and for those of you who rely on opinion to get your thoughts across, I've got a few words for you: No one really gives a fuck. Just like no body gives a fuck about what I think. But we all continue to slip in personal biases and thoughts about matters relevant to us.
Think about it. Who really cares if you like Tiesto or hate him? That case is further magnified for the opposites: A Tiesto-lover's opinion will be as much significance as the purpose of watching paint dry for the Tiesto hater, no?
This not only is contained in music opinions but lifestyle opinions as well. For me, being a Asian in a predominatly white society is well...just that. Being Asian. I'm either too white wash or too FOBby...never in between. People's biases are so skewed towards their own perceptions that it no longer matters who thinks of WHAT, but how MANY think of WHAT. And that's where trends begin, even if they aren't trends to being with.
A trend's substance will never change...meaning that as long as there are opinions, there will be trends. And as long as there are trends, there will popular demands.
To answer Why Is It Popular To Hate Tiesto, ask yourself this. Why is it popular to like him.
And there you have it.
