I'm annoyed now that a bunch of you had cameras, and the bouncer chick wouldn't let me in with mine, she made me take it back to the car... Damn, and all I did all night was sit around...

Oh well, after last night, I'll definately be going to VIVA again, so I'll get my camera in then...

My favourite part of Johans set, was when it gotta kinda like progressive (I hate progressive), (I don't know if it was progressive, but there was pretty much just a drum beat for like 5 minutes)... The reason I loved it so much, was that everyone just kinda stopped dancing, and stood there looking stupid.. Then he popped some trance back on, and everyone started dancing again.. I was like.. "Damn, this is SOOOO a TRANCE crowd..." It was awesome...

A word of advice to anyone who didn't go, and who plans on going after all these reviews... Bring some sunglasses... My eyes were hurtin' after staring at the lights for hours... Of course, that's a stupid thing to do, but it was fun..

And did anyone see some Asian guy (like that narrows it down) with his shirt only on one arm, and his neck? It was a white shirt, with like a dragon, or something on the back... I just couldn't figure out why he one arm not through the sleeve... He even took the shirt off, to cool down, then put it back on the same way... Can anyone PLEASE explain this new style to me?

The club atmosphere not bad...lots of nice people and the setup with the Dj booth is great as well...

Did meet 2 individuals who deserve a mention:
1) the dude with the black Tank Top who took me and the 2 girls I was with outside and hung with us for a portion of the night [ you know who you are : you said you live 5 minutes away ]

2) Then I saw my friend chatting it up with Swamps so I got to talk to him [ Swamps Im the guy who was with Kathy and my girlfriend ]
It was nice to finally meet you

Your review pretty much sums it up, Pepi, and yeah, shoutout to the " dude" in the black sleevless top- hansolo! U were a real trooper! Nice meeting ya! By the way, I am the girl in yellow top that was there with Pepi and his gf, u took us outside. I would have liked to meet more TA's, but it is a bit hard to talk in there with such a system.

I have to add that I loved the Intro, and I have heard the exact Intro once before, was it at Armin Van Buuren guvernment or was it Rank 1 in Montreal? What a nice set, some new tunes mixed with some older ones, I loved the vocals in the tracks,LOVED THEM!It made the track soo much better, and I am the biggest vocal freak I loved hearing MOBY -Go, that is such a classic! Good Job! I love it when DJ's incorporate old school stuff like that into their sets !

Anyhow, I will most likely be there in Sept , since that is around my B-day, hope to meet more of u there, also shoutouts to swamperman and a great party! See ya next time!!!

i think itz pretty much safe to say that everyone that was there that nite had a good time ..

for those of you who weren't there and say u don't regret it i believe you. itz impossible to be at two places at once, but i know that if u WERE there u wouldn't have regret going either.

i can only let you all hear the livesets that will be posted and some of the videos to judge for urself.. but again, of course nothing beats the live.. :]

Just wanted to say that Viva has an awesome crowd with a wicked vibe, alongside a great sound system and incredible lighting (and soap machines) In addition to Gielen, the resident DJs were just as impressive. The hard stuff from Hartec was Anyway, greets to all of those that I met up with glad to see everyone had an amazing time

Nothing but top of the line:

the article that has been on the main page for some time now:
www.eaw.com/news/article.phtml?id=269

the main page:
www.eaw.com

Apparently they used the same speakers as Guv, or something along those lines.

Gielen good, Hartec awesome!!!!!!!!!

Wow!!!!!, what a night. Gielen's set was good, maybe a little bit soft for me, but definitely good. I'm not going to comment on the crowd or club, all has been said, but for those of you who showed up early you got to experience 3 Hours of absolutely insane Hard Trance by Hartec, amazing selection of cutting edge stuff!!! accompanied by some solid mixing. Takes me back to the old Destiny days when Hard shit ruled the scene!!!! Dude, if you check the message boards I would DIE for a mixed CD or tape please!!!!!!

YESSSSSS! I came back and needed to comment on this, a friend and I were just standing at the bar with the biggest smiles on our faces hearing nice hard solid trance, tune after tune just bangin it out. He just kept on getting us more and more pumped for Johan!

I as well would love a CD or something if he has one..

Viva was amazing, I can't wait to go back for Marco V!
