cool vid. I notice you cut out parts though. And I also noticed you use the tone are lifter too much
But all aronud good job, now all you need is a picture of a crowd in front of you and smile more. Even go so far as to point to imaginary people to practice for playing out. heh heh

djrichy: You sure like to stroke and caress the platter (1:46). Overall good mixing. I hope to get where you are soon.

You're jsut the first person I've seen use the tone arm lifter. That's pretty neet. I dind't mean anything bad by it. I thought the video was good.

judge jules @ gatecrasher

you looked like Judge Jules @ gatecrasher in this video I have, I don't know how many people have seen it, but judging by your icon you probably have.

Hey nice vid. I noticed you only touch the outside of the vinyl, or the centre. Do you ever touch the actual record? I find I have much better control by touching the actual surface, even though I know its bad. But I do wash my reks regularly.

ive always used the arm lifter - its a good-quick way of rid of the track from the live sound.

i never touch the main bit of the record - ive had bad experiences where i accidently make the record jump. always the edges to slow it down and the centre to speed it up.

i cud always draw some stick-men on my wall, that'll look really realistic and will probably make me feel as tho im in a club!

video

Its a one camera angle from the side and you can tell its Gatecrasher by the ballons in the background w/ the gatecrasher symbol on them, but its not the same as the [email protected]3 i have. Its a really good set, but the only time i've seen it is on my brothers computer and its a huge ass file. you could try searching for it on the internet. It pretty sweet tho cuz it doesn't cut the entire time and you get to see Jules drinking his cranberry Champagne or whatever he drinks a lot of and progressivly get drunker during the set.
