I mean, maybe I'm jumping to conclusions there, but reading through the old threads it's pretty obvious that almost everybody was having a fucking blast with their friends all the time. And even if the TAs themselves weren't PLURing out every weekend, many of their IRL friends probably were, and said friends probably stopped partying and left the TAs feeling grumpy and old.

Add that to the fact that this site doesn't get many younger, newer members, and you end up with a lot of sarcastic in-jokes.

Called it for me. But you can also add that the music got shittier and the attitudes more arrogant, to the point where I don't even think I'm missing out on anything special. It was a good run while it lasted, I accept the fact that those binge weekenders are behind me now.

Yeah, I think the trend has much more to do with increasing age than decreasing drug use (assuming the latter is even happening).

btw, every time that "Crackhead Alliance" thread gets bumped to the front page and I read it, I'm completely amazed at some of the stuff the human brain can take and still allow the person to function as a normal human being.
