"Now", "Then" - who cares?

There's been so much quality electronic music released in the past 40 or so odd years that you'd have to be a rather self-limiting individual to find yourself running out of "good stuff".

Saying that all new music sucks just because you can't actually find it is a lot like admitting to being severely brain damaged.

If you're looking for good new music these days you won't find it from the same people generally as you would a decade or so ago, simple as. It's out there but you've got to evolve your tastes to find it. Saying that, I play as much old stuff as the next person, I just find good new music too.

I didn't say that all new music is crap. I said it's mostly crap meaning 70-80% which is quite a lot in my opinion. If you have anything to share, please do. I'm sure there's lots of DJs and producers on here that wouldn't mind if others heard their work. And also, please excuse my laziness if that's what you want to call it since I have a very hectic work schedule and don't always find the time to look for the "good stuff".

That being said, this is what the COR reminds me of at the moment.

It was 70-80% crap back then, too. You were just too young and uncritical to notice, plus you have probably forgotten most of the forgettable crap.
