I don't have a problem with her behavior. At all. If I were on the jury, I'd exercise my right to jury nullification (as would I for any statute that refers in any way to any involved person's age since every single one of them is unconstitutional, but I digress).

Don't read too much into that penalty, though. A lot of people who plead guilty to charges with jail sentences "up to 20 years" end up serving ZERO. The system is fux0red for intimidation purposes, the number of years someone COULD go to prison is usually totally unrelated to the number they do.
