I'll take a stab at it and say bronchitis. Sounds like a respiratory infection to me, although one that probably isn't too serious. In this case, some Amoxicillin or Augmentin (Amoxicillin/clavulante) would take care of it. Or you may not even need medication and the condition will just go away. If it's acute bronchitis, antibiotics will not work, antivirals will be needed.

I'm not so sure. It sounds an awful lot like Space Dementia to me.
Could be asthma. I had 'temporary asthma' once when I went to Montreal. Quite scary...
Did the doctor make you lean forward and and get you to breathe in deep, and cough, whilst putting a stethoscope to the back of your ribs? Suggest it to them. Could be that you need a steroid inhaler for a while...

There's a word that sums up this sort of behaviour, and that word is 'reject.'

This is the #1 reason why I hope it's just anxiety/stress
I should get all the results this Tuesday, and then I'll schedule an appointment with the doctor (hopefully) soon afterwards.

Aye, (t)he(y) did, and Friday I had to borrow one of these inhalers for some weird lung capacity exam. It felt good, but I'm not sure I could really breathe any better after that
