Suzy and I got there a few minutes late. The Palace was packed so there was no chance to meet up with the fellow TA's. When we got there George dropped the new remix of Cafe Del Mar. Some other noteable tracks he played were: Jurgen Vries "The Theme" (Dumonde mix, and also the Voltswagon track which has Push's Universal Nation with a new Vocal over it. Im gonna have to apologize for not being able to id more of the tracks, its one of those bad short term memory things. Anyways the crowd seemed really into all of Georges music. It was to bad Gainsville had to shut down at 2am... That law has got to go. Peace

Ha, I have seen Debbie before so i knew not to get there until at least 12. I agree with you about the Florida breaks. They wear thin on my nerves as well... I tried to get up to the front at one point, i had a feeling you all were probably up there, but it was way to crowded. Next time we will meet up for sure.

George fucking ruled. Pat, Bobbo, Mich(bobbo's friend, and I were dead center front row. Hey, we earned that spot, we had to sit through Debbie D's ENTIRE set, lol. SHE FUCKING MIXED JANIS JOPLIN! Tha Gainesville mix RULES! HAHAHAHA

But then Acosta came on and kicked our asses. Don't feel bad techno, none of us could remember very many of the tracks either.

He dropped "I will always love you" by Whitney Houston (The song from The Bodyguard) shit was hilarious. He did a nice job mixing it though, not the easiest thing to mix in, I imagine.

FOX! you soooo should have come! Pat and I have so damn many stories to tell ya'll about Saturday night! ROFL. We'll post a thread about it tonight, I'm sure. I'll say this though, Fox, you were talked about on the side of a country road at 5:30AM. lol.


Anyway, good ta meet you both,Pat & Bobbo! I had a fuckin blast. Hopefully we can do this again soon. Acosta made a good showing so maybe they'll start inviting more DJ's!
