The Mpressor is too much for me.

My entire 'new studio' setup will be around £10-12k so it's just not worth it.

I did see a pair of those 0300's for sale on the slutz the other day, but I think they'll be far too massive for whatever room I put them in.

Was thinking about the PMC TB2's instead. The active ones.

300 are not too overwhelming, quite ok for intimate listening too, but yes you have to deal with the size.
PMC is nice too, you will just miss pressure in the bottom octaves because of cone size

I dunno. It's very unlikely i'll be doing any thorough room treatment for the next 2-3 years so 6.5" is probably more than enough for whatever room i'm in. Headphones for teh checking win for me I'd say.
