Believability isn't the factor. Indy 4 just sucked overall.

But it's a nice little bit of fantasy, and I think that's a good thing. I was waiting the whole damn movie (or film, sorry!) for Leo to die, and if he didn't, I would have been quite pissed off.

Much Ado About Nothing....or you might be referring to Dracula (the Francis Ford Coppola version). Both he attempted an accent, and both times he stuck out amongst a sea of more versatile actors (Denzel Washington and Kenneth Branagh in Much Ado About Nothing, Gary Oldman and Anthony Hopkins in Dracula).

Don't get me wrong, I'm actually a huge Keanu fan...but you can't put him in a movie that requires intense emotional range. Movies like Speed and the Matrix work extremely well due to his screen presence and his effortless ability to look cool - not to mention both movies ride on a plot device that doesn't rely too much on the actor. He's got a place in Hollywood, and he deserves to be recognized as an icon in cinema....but don't put him in a Shakespearean play, he doesn't belong there. (even though apparently he played Hamlet in a Canadian theater production that earned him rave reviews)


As for mentioning a moment in cinema that is cringe-worthy....well...I thought Shoot 'Em Up with Clive Owen missed the mark completely. I know the movie is essentially a spoof/parody of movies in which one guy takes on a colossal amount of evil-doers and what have you, but it spun out of control quickly. Eventually, the movie became just one big circus with no grounding. Mind you, some people really liked it, but I'm not one of those people.

I'll also echo the 'NOOOO!!!!' from Episode III....the movie pulled off NOT being a parody of itself up to that point (unlike Episodes I and II, whose Star Wars charm was completely vaporized by the constant political bickering that nobody cared about, and the poorly written romance between Anakin and Padme)

Also, I know we've talked about it here, but Southland Tales....the movie by Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko) that stars a ton of people...but the movie was just.....off. I saw it a long time ago, and I dont remember if I liked it or not....but the reviews were awful, and many members of the film community labeled it as a massive failure coming from a director who was responsible for a cult classic like Donnie Darko.
